CCRW is a national not-for-profit organization that exists to promote and support meaningful and equitable employment of persons with disabilities.At CCRW, we offer job search assistance, employer incentives, accommodation assessments, consulting services, and a variety of workshops. Additionally, we provide a range of services for employers, from consulting, to hiring and retention, and disability confidence training.Whether you are a job seeker living with a disability or an employer looking to tap into a talented pool of candidates, CCRW will partner with you to meet your unique needs and help you succeed. 

Working Stronger Together is a program of the Canadian Mental Health Association of New Brunswick (CMHA of NB), a voluntary organization, leader and champion for mental health. CHMA of NB facilitates access to the resources people require to improve mental health and community integration, build resilience, and support recovery from mental illness.

The Working Stronger Together program provides employment, referral and educational services to help individuals between the ages of 18 to 65 who are living with diversified disabilities become job-ready.

Our agency provides career search strategies, educational referrals and teaches interviewing techniques, resumé and cover-letter writing. We also help clients acquire job search skills, access the hidden job market and do work-related follow ups. We provide clients the on-the-job support they need to successfully achieve their personal and professional goals; ensuring the client and the employer are satisfied by the job performance of the individual. 

CRMHAA works with community members living with mental illness and their families in the Fredericton and surrounding areas. Here’s how our charity makes a difference in your community:

• Navigation supports for mental health clients and their families within the mental health system.
• Employment support for those ready to return to work or education.
• A place to learn life skills, regain confidence and respect within our REACH program.
• Facilitating support groups for mental health clients, caregivers of mental health clients, and those impacted by the suicide of a loved one.
• Supporting mental wellness of young people and families in our community through wellness programs, support groups, and recreational activities.
• Educating the public and corporations on mental health matters.
• Offering certification in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training & Mental Health First Aid.

The Community Employment Agency (CEA) is a division of Moncton Employment & Training Services Inc. which provides employment services to unemployed New Brunswickers living with intellectual disabilities (including persons with brain Injury and slow learners), who require assistance and support to develop the necessary skills to obtain and maintain self-sufficiency in employment. 

All services delivered are provided on an individualized basis due to the specific and individualized needs and abilities. Services range from employment counseling, vocational assessments, transit training, resume development, interview preparation, job search/marketing, one-on-one workplace job coaching and employment maintenance/monitoring. When it is determined necessary, job coach services are available on the job site, these services are individually designed, and provide systematic training to the employer standards. 

Crosswinds Employment Assistance Services provides professional and confidential employment related services to individuals with a disability living in the rural communities of Kings County. We offer cross disability services including intellectual or developmental, mental health, mobility, deaf or hard of hearing, and blind or low vision. We work collaboratively with disability specific organizations and other agencies across the province to ensure our participants receive the support and services that suit their needs.

Employment Counsellors assist individuals from ages 18 and up with setting and achieving realistic employment goals through career decision-making, skills enhancement, job search and employment maintenance. We work with job seekers and employers to match skills with labour force needs and requirements. We refer to government programs and other support services that may be required for on-the-job success. 

Easter Seals New Brunswick is a bilingual, not-for-profit organization, working in partnership with persons with disabilities, enabling them to attain independence and equality of opportunity available in their communities. Our mission is to assist persons with disabilities in achieving their full potential.

Easter Seals NB supplies adaptive software, mobility devices, tools and equipment to New Brunswickers who experience a disability. Our extensive Assistive Technology program provides assistive technology to students attending post-secondary education. We work hard to make sure students have the right technology at the right time. This includes supplying apps and programs that help eliminate barriers.

Situated in Grand Lake, Camp Rotary is a summer camp for children and adults of all ages that provides an authentic camping experience for people with a disability. 

Emploi Habilité + is a specialized employment assistance service for persons with a disability facing significant barriers to employment. Emploi Habilité + is managed by the Edmundston Region Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Avenue NB cooperative.

The goal of the service is to facilitate participants’ integration into the labour market by identifying employment barriers and training needs, and by coordinating the necessary interventions to reduce or eliminate these obstacles. It also aims to help clients become independent and self-sufficient.

The disability types served is diverse, ranging from individuals with learning disabilities or mental health challenges to those with physical, intellectual, visual, auditory, or other disabilities. The area served by Emploi Habilité + includes Madawaska County and the greater Grand Falls region.

Hire Potential is a local not-for-profit employment service that serves the Greater Saint John area. For the past 25 years, we have worked to promote and foster valued opportunities for social and economic inclusion and full citizenship for people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities so they may live lives of dignity, free from poverty. We offer supports for pre-employment and employment, to help people meet their goals. We also connect local employers to qualified candidates, and support both to ensure a great job match.

We will assist anyone that requires support for their disability and wants to build a path to employment. We work with adults between the ages of 18-64 and support them to identify their career interests. To create a strong job match, we consider the individual’s talents, strengths, and personal interests. We use a person-centered approach to help individuals meet their goals and find meaningful employment. We assist job seekers to conduct a job search, prepare for workplace culture, build strong resumes, practice interview and networking skills, and to obtain accommodations for employment or post-secondary schooling. 

Inclusion New Brunswick supports people with an intellectual or developmental disability to find employment and thrive in the workplace. Our approach includes identifying the necessary supports they need to be successful and helping to ensure employer and workplace readiness. Our programs provide pre-employment and provincial employment services to connect more people to New Brunswick's workforce. A few services we offer within our employment programs include: provincial consultation and support services, pre-employment supports, job coach training, employment maintenance and case management services for students attending college. The people we support are working age (16+), some living with family members and some living independently. We address the challenges they face, including lack of understanding about intellectual or developmental disabilities, by helping the employer create an environment that is inclusive and where the time and contributions of every employee are valued equally.  

Jobs Unlimited is a not-for-profit organization providing employment and work experience opportunities to adults with intellectual disabilities in the greater Fredericton area including Keswick, Oromocto, Stanley and Minto.

We aim to facilitate an improved lifestyle and enhanced dignity for individuals with intellectual disabilities through community-based programs which provide employment and developmental opportunities and to act as advocates on their behalf. To achieve this objective, we work closely with Employment Counsellors to determine vocational goals and develop an employment action plan. We assist individuals in identifying appropriate and realistic employment options based on their interests, abilities and skills.

Jobs Unlimited helps individuals with job search strategies, mock interviews (face to face, virtual, telephone), resumé preparation, job applications, referencing background checks, SIN, workplace etiquette and coping strategies. We assist in setting up employer interviews and we provide support throughout the entire process of integrating into the labour market. 

Key Industries has been providing services to people with disabilities since 1974. We are an “Employment-First” agency offering a wide range of pre-employment programs, social and community programs, and supports for those with complex needs. Key Industries has transitioned from a sheltered model to an agency that provides a wide range of outreach programs meeting the needs of individuals living with an intellectual and/or learning disability.
